We are excited to welcome you to the 2026–2027 CCD & the Arts Pottstown Studio Class Season!

Please arrive approximately 5-10 minutes before class to allow your child time to prepare before entering the studio.

🖤 CLASS DRESS CODE

Our standard class attire for kids and teens is traditional dance attire in black. Having students dressed consistently helps create a focused learning environment and allows our instructors to properly observe posture, alignment, placement, and technique.

​

Female Students

Black leotard with appropriate dance tights, leggings, or dance pants. A black dance or ballet skirt may also be worn.

 

Male Students

Black fitted dance or athletic shirt with black dance pants or fitted athletic pants.

 

Students should bring/wear the appropriate dance shoes for their class. Instructors will provide additional guidance regarding footwear and attire as students progress through their training.

Don't have all black yet? That's okay!

Your child does not need to have all-black attire in order to begin class. Students may start in appropriate dance attire they already own while families work toward obtaining the required attire.

​

If your family needs assistance purchasing dance attire, please let us know. We are happy to assist.

For safety, students should not wear large or dangling jewelry during class, and long hair should be secured away from the face.

Finding Our Studio

Our building is BLACK and is located next door to H&R Block.

When you arrive, look for the black building. This should make the studio easier to identify from the street.

​

🚗 PARKING

Street parking is available near the studio. Please be sure to read all posted parking signs carefully before leaving your vehicle. There is also a parking lot located behind the facility that families may use.  Please allow yourself a few extra minutes for parking, particularly during your first visit.

​

🚻 BEFORE CLASS

We ask parents to please have children use the restroom before class begins whenever possible.

Our instructors want students to receive the full benefit of their class time, and taking care of restroom needs beforehand helps minimize interruptions once instruction has started.

Of course, if a child needs to use the restroom during class, they will be permitted to do so.

Please review the 2026–2027 Pottstown Class Calendar carefully. Our Pottstown classes are not necessarily held every week of the month, so the calendar should be your primary reference for determining whether class is scheduled.

Please do not assume that class is being held simply because it is a Thursday or Saturday. Always refer to the class calendar and this Parent Update Page.
