ABOUT THE PRE - LITURGICAL DANCE EDUCATOR    PROGRAM

TM

This program is specifically designed to be the pre-requisite for those who wish to be certified by CCD to teach Liturgical Dance but do not have the education, training or background to be fully accepted into the program.  This program serves to give new dance educators and ministry leaders the training necessary to begin their journey toward the LDE Certification.  This adult-based program has no requirements to apply other than completing the application.

WHO SHOULD APPLY FOR THIS PROGRAM?
 
Those with 0-3 years of Dance Ministry Leadership
Those with 0-3 years of professional training in a specific dance discipline (ballet, jazz, modern, african etc)
Those who recognize that they have a "grace" or "gift" to teach

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

​

To be admitted directly into the LDE Program, you will need the following:

  • To be 18 years or older

  • Completed & accepted LDE Application

  • Five (5) consecutive years in leadership positions

  • At least 3-5 consecutive years of formal dance training in a specific dance discipline i.e. Ballet, Jazz, Modern

tuition fees & deadlines

Fees & Tuition Information:

•Registration fee (including Graduation Fee): $35 USD / Late Registration:  $45 USD

  • Each Course: $45 USD / each course monthly

  • Total Program Cost:  $485 USD / $495 USD (pay as you go)

Enrollment Information:

  • Enrollment will open on March 4, 2024.

  • Enrollment for May closes on April 19, 2024, at 11:59 AM EST

  • Late Enrollment opens on April 22, 2024, and closes on April 26, 2024, at 11:59 AM EST.
